Overview

We have been involved in the construction of many schools, but this series of projects was different in a number of respects.

A major house builder has created an innovative design that allows it reduce the architectural and construction costs of the new schools that it builds, to serve major housing developments. A standard design provides all the key spaces that a primary school requires, while having the flexibility to include more or fewer classrooms as required by the local population.

We have been contracted to provide the roof, trims and soffits for five schools so far. Each is delivered using an aluminium standing seam roof system with PPC aluminium trim and soffits. The curved walls require that the roof changes direction in places, achieved using tapered sheets.
